Sorry no help here, but I'm having the same problem, only I want to disable autorun. If anyone knows how to disable/enable it please post.
Install TweakUI (it's an unsupported Microsoft-made Windows tweaking util). Get it from http://www.tweakui.com
Install it (right-click on the .inf file and click Install) and it'll appear in the control panel. Open it and in the Paranoia tab tick or untick the appropriate boxes.

Ok I know how to get it work
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom
Change Autorun value to 0(off) or 1(on)

...or you could do that
