Balloon Help/Tooltips

This is a discussion about Balloon Help/Tooltips in the Windows Hardware category; Anyone know how to turn off the balloon help/tooltips in XP Beta 2? They totally annoy me, and I can't find the off switch anywhere, including in TweakUI. Thanks, Jazz.

Not sure if this works but have you tried

Rightclick My COmputer-->Preferences-->Performance?-->Those graphical settings in that LONG list I don't know what half of it means. hehe
