Banshee on Win2k

This is a discussion about Banshee on Win2k in the Windows Games category; Im running a Voodoo Banshee card on my computer, but it won`t work with Quake 3. Anybody got Q3 running with Banshee that can help me?.

Upgrade hehehe Try the beta drivers are the www.3dfx.com site and you might have some success.

Care to share with me exactly where on 3dfx u find beta drivers? The only ones ive found is ordinary NT drivers.

Thanx, but i already have those, and they wont work. Q3 says it needs OpenGL drivers, and the ones ppl are saying is originaly installed in win2k dont work. And ofcourse GLSetup havent released a version for anything else than the old win versions
Bether get myself a new card i guess

I have the exact same problem, except that, well, there's no point in buying a voodoo 3 when the voodoo 4 & 5 are just around the corner. I'm looking for a temporary solution until the 4 and 5 are released. Anyone?

If you need something ASAP get the TNT2 line of video cards, they don't cost that much. But if you can bite the bullet for a few more months the NV 15 will be out
