Can only run Quake3 on W2K

This is a discussion about Can only run Quake3 on W2K in the Windows Games category; I can only run Quake 3 Arena on my German Windows 2000 Prof. Build 2195. This is the only game that work. All other Games dont run (AOE2, F1 Racing Simulation etc. ). I have a Geforce Card form Asus.

I can only run Quake 3 Arena on my German
Windows 2000 Prof. Build 2195. This is
the only game that work. All other Games dont
run (AOE2, F1 Racing Simulation etc.). I have a Geforce Card form Asus. And tried the newest driver sfrom Nvidia and Asus. But all games that use Direct 3D crashes. Only OpenGL Games work. Can someone help me?!
Can i reinstall the DirectX Version?! I killed my joy.cpl can someone send me it.
Please help
