cannot change monitor type
This is a discussion about cannot change monitor type in the Windows Hardware category; Hi All, I need help; i have a abitlm6 Mobo and a nvidia tnt2 m64 card and i installed win2k; i get a default monitor setting along with vga mode; so basically it cannot detect the monitor (optiquest q71) and the nvidia driver has a ? beside in the device manager? Hi.
Well if you double click on the driver in device manager it should give you a brief reason why it isnt functioning properly. Id reinstall the driver or find a new one. Good Luck!

if you want to change your monitor go to hardware manager right click on the monitor hit properties then hit update driver. As for driver the Det drivers have never given me a problem.
