Won't let you install the printer?
 
In what way? Nasty error message? Hand reaches out from the monitor and slaps you? No drivers? Parallel port not working?
 
Give us something to work with...

I had the same problem in build 2195 with a Canon BJC 2000.
 
2in2k has no drivers for this printer that are called 2000. Ii messed round, and then I found that the BJC-2000 will work with any of the canon drivers for the BJC 210, 240, 250, e.t.c.
 
So in Win2k I just added a Canon BJC250 printer and off went the BJC-2000 printing perfectly.

ok i go to install a new printer. i have the CD the printer came with. it shows as Canon BJC 5100 so i click have disk and point it to the cd drive for the cd. it goes to install then brings up a screen with "no signature support" somthing to that effect. i hit OK and it installs. then it says it cannot finish install and exits. Brenden i tried installing it as a Canon BJC 4550 which was on the microsoft update but it wouldnt work because it said it couldnt verify the printer cartridge.

Did you ever solve this problem? I am trying to get the drivers installed as well, and can't for some reason.

Actually, Canon has told me (Mar. 03) that they are in the final stages for releasing Win2K drivers for their printer line-up.
