Been having this problem for awhile now and i can't seem to get around it.
My Network:
1 Win2k Advanced Server Machine
4 Win2k Workstations
2 Win98 Computers
Both TCP/IP and IPX/SPX protocol running
Three of my win2k workstations work perfectly with the server and are able to see it, obtain an address from the servers dhcp server and so on ..
One of my workstations and the other 2 win98 computers can't see the server and can't obtain address from the dhcp server. The hardware of these three problem machines is working fine and they can see all the other workstations perfectly but they can't see the server at all.
I appreciate any help you can give me .. thanks

I know this may sound silly but is the scope of your DHCP server address pool big enough to allow that many address's to claimed

OP
I don't think it's the dhcp scope because there aren't nearly enough comps to fill up the scope I set.
On top of that, even if TCP/IP isn't working the computer should be able to see the server over IPX/SPX, which it can't. I'm now thinking this may be some kind of licensing thing but I seem to have enough licenses. The whole licensing thing is confusing as hell anyway ..
