CD-r for laptop

This is a discussion about CD-r for laptop in the Windows Hardware category; Hi, I have a latop and I want to buy a CD-r and run Windows 2000. I know my computer can run Windows 2000, so thats not a problem! I just wanted to know if anyone have any experince with a CD-r that uses USB to connect to the computer and Windows 2000? Or maybe the HP CD-Writer Plus M820e.
