Changing drive letters on LS-120 drive

This is a discussion about Changing drive letters on LS-120 drive in the Windows Hardware category; How do you change a drive letter on a LS 120 drive. It says B drive at the moment but I want to say A drive, cos I just got rid of the 1. 44mb drive. Disk manager can't view the drive and device manager can't change it, unlike in Win 98.

I had the same problem on my system and finally gave up on it -great speeds off the ls120 though. I also had an A and B drive with the ls stuck on b -just don't try to access the a! It will lock up for a while. Any answers to this?

Make sure in your BIOS you set the 3.5 Floppy to NONE. And wherever you LS-120 is on your IDE chain to auto.
