Chock-full of events in the viewer.....

This is a discussion about Chock-full of events in the viewer..... in the Windows Hardware category; My event viewer is filling up with several niggling problems. As far as I can tell they havent affected my system, but then again, I'm not sure. I *have* been experiencing random lockups. Anywho, my system: BP6 w/two 366's@550 FEP32coolers ~31C temp 128mb ram.

My event viewer is filling up with several niggling problems. As far as I can tell they havent affected my system, but then again, I'm not sure. I *have* been experiencing random lockups. Anywho, my system:

BP6 w/two 366's@550 FEP32coolers ~31C temp
128mb ram
...standard other stuff (no conflicts in Device Manager)

MS keyboard (using the PS2 port)
MS wheel mouse (PS2)

here's a list of the three most common events I get in the Application log at boot up:
----------------
Perfnet
Unable to open the Server service. Server performance data will not be returned. Error code returned is in data DWORD 0.
------------------
WinMgmt
WMI ADAP was unable to load the winspool.drv performance library due to an unknown problem within the library: 0x0
--------------------
Perfctrs
Unable to read IO control information from NBT device.

...what do these mean?? what sort of problems are they causing? I havent a clue.

..another niggling problem I get, is in the System log. This isn't consistent, but fairly common:

i8042prt
Exceeded the allowable number of retries (configurable via the registry) on device .
...or
Could not set the keyboard indicator lights.

I'd really like to fix these. :):

oh, and another thing (if I may cram all this into one), Has anyone got force feedback to work with the logitech wingman formula force wheel? will it ever work?

Sorry about the long post.

Dents.
