Cisco 605

This is a discussion about Cisco 605 in the Windows Hardware category; Anyone have any information on the status of the drivers for the Cisco 605 for Win2K? I know Intel purchased the card from Cisco, but while talking to US West one tech (who seemed somewhat in-the-know) said people were able to get the 605 to work under Win2K.

Other than that, though, Cisco, US West, and Intel seem to be playing the silent game and aren't giving the customers any idea of what options will be available when the time comes to upgrade the OS.

Some people are able to get it to work? I would be interested to know how. I too have the Cisco 605 modem and it's the only thing holding me back from fully switching to Win2000. I wonder if it's possible to hack the Win98 and NT4 drivers that came with the modem? I know there is other hardware that someone was able to hack the NT4 drivers into working. Could it be as simple as repackaging the NT4 drivers into a Win2000-friendly INF file?
