Connection Icon not in system tray
This is a discussion about Connection Icon not in system tray in the Windows Software category; I used to have a connection icon at the system tray but now its gone every time i made a connection to my ISP. I dont know if i done something in my system. What should i do? I used the default of win2k dialer!.

Have you recently uninstalled Nero 4.0 and installed Nero 5.0 .. !!! If you have this could be your problem. When you start Windows go to dial up networking and see if your dial up conection icons are presant ! you will see that they are missing but they are still there but as hidden items. If you refresh the page they will return and then when you connect to the internet your dial up icon in the system tray will return but you have to do this every time you start windows. I dont know how to fix this in the registry but there must be someone who can.
I have the same problem using NetZero. Don't know how to fix it.
