Controlling 2000 via the Command line

This is a discussion about Controlling 2000 via the Command line in the Windows Software category; Hi, I want to control Win2000 via a telnet prompt when Im away. I have telnet setup and it works ok, but I dont know many commands. What I need the commands for are: Shutdown Reboot View CPU/Ram Usage View Running Proccess anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I want to control Win2000 via a telnet prompt when Im away. I have telnet setup and it works ok, but I dont know many commands.
 
What I need the commands for are:
 

Shutdown
Reboot
View CPU/Ram Usage
View Running Proccess
[/list=a]
 
anyone got any ideas?

What might help you is to type-"help" in a dos prompt. This lists all the dos commands. Im not sure about the things you are asking about though.

You probably misspelled it with an I instead of a U

You probably mis-typed it or something.

As for shutting down your machine there is a prog called shutdown.exe which is available on the Win2k Resource Kit. I believe there's also a shareware file that does the same floating around somewhere. I think it can do both shutdown and restart, but I'm not sure on this.

Shutdown/Reboot -- shutdown.exe from the resource kit.
 
process/ram/cpu -- pmon.exe from the support tools (somewhere on the W2K CD)
