Partition Magic will do the job without a glitch if you have dual boot.
I keep W2K/Win98 dual boot because it is nice to be able to do stuff on the W2K partition from within Win98 without being bothered by file protection etc. For example, I can defrag W2K fastly and cleanly with Norton from Win98.
BTW, PM is a very powerful program and a must have.

If you dual boot, 98 has a conversion program built in.
Yep.
But as far as I remember, you cannot go back to fat 16 if you wish to ???

With Partition Magic you can go back, alhtough I do not see why you would want to. I think you can even switch between NTFS and FATXX
