CPU Cooling SW?

This is a discussion about CPU Cooling SW? in the Windows Software category; Hi. Does anyone know what CPU Cooling software that works with Win2k? I have tried Waterfall, Rain and CPUIdle, (latest releases, of corse) and I have not been able to get any of these to work. Any help appreciated.

Hi.
 
Does anyone know what CPU Cooling software that works with Win2k?

WinNT and Win2k do all the CPU cooling themselves unless you have an SMP configuration. It has real issues on that.
 
However, with a single CPU NT and 2K do an excellent job on their own. =)

To you explain more about the idle-cycling problems NT has with SMP, haven't heard about it before... (neither have I noticed anything on SMP machines(only dual though)).
