SETI@home will use 99%-100% of your processor, and only 16megs of RAM [if you tell it to run all the time].
 
I used the graphical version to compare my old AMD, and my new PIII:
 
PIIIe 500MHz: ~17 hrs/packet
AMD K6-2 450MHz: ~50 hrs/packet
AST 486 66MHz: ~350 hrs/packet

Well...I ran Quake 3 at all the high settings for 9 hours, with Seti@home in the background, as well as some other media apps repeating over and over...and my CPU went from a standard 87 degrees(which is incidentallythe same as my motherboard), to a staggeringly high 87 degrees!!!
 
Something tells me I'm going to enjoy this rig.

Notepad. I can't even get 98 to be stable with that...
