Crashing Prollemz
This is a discussion about Crashing Prollemz in the Windows Hardware category; I was surprised that i ran win2k for 8 days straight without any problems. But lately, it would reboot and go into standby mode randomly. I disabled standby mode in the properties tab, but still I get random standby's and reboots.
I was surprised that i ran win2k for 8 days straight without any problems. But lately, it would reboot and go into standby mode randomly. I disabled standby mode in the properties tab, but still I get random standby's and reboots. Also, win2k has crashed on me 3 times (mebbe because of 3dfx's crappy drivers [b4 the 2/28's ones]). I havent had a actual crash for a while, but i know it'll happen again. How to heck do i turn off standby for good? and what about the random reboots and my crashings? - the crashings occur at weird times, and i can still hear my mp3's playing.

-OH YEAH! I had the random reboot/standby prollem with win98 a few times too, but not nearly as often.
