creative tnt2 ultra agp wont work in win2k

This is a discussion about creative tnt2 ultra agp wont work in win2k in the Windows Hardware category; I have just recently ionstalled win2k and when I wanna change the screen prop. I see tha tinstead of the tnt2 card win2k uses an vga card. . and the cga card has a conlfict with e the agp slot. . and in device manager i see that the tnt2 car d cannot start.

I have installed the newest detonator drivers from nvidia.com..

If you mean VGA card then its there only because the TNT drivers aren't working. You have to change you PC from ACPI to "Standard PC" use the serach option in the forum for many descriptions of this. Get motherboard drivers from the chipset manufacturer, ali, viatech, intel, or sis etc... As you haven't supplied any info on your PC no one can really help.
 
Its most likely that a bios update will fix the problems with the PC, if there is IRQ sharing problems. What type of motherboard is it? Does it have a bios that is fully ACPI compliant? do your com ports work? What other PCI cads do you have?
