devices using the same irq

This is a discussion about devices using the same irq in the Windows Hardware category; Every time I start up win2000 it assign my irq 10 to five different devices (two video-adapters, a soundcard, a tv-card, a network-adapter). It says there are no conflicts but when I try to play any sound or use the network adapter, win2000 stops responding.

Every time I start up win2000 it assign my irq 10 to five different devices (two video-adapters, a soundcard, a tv-card, a network-adapter). It says there are no conflicts but when I try to play any sound or use the network adapter, win2000 stops responding. It doesn't allow me to manually set the irq either, even though all devices are plug and play and irq 5 and 7 are free.
Why does it keep on insist that these devices should be on irq 10??
Please, can anyone tell me what to do?
