Diablo 2 Stress Test
This is a discussion about Diablo 2 Stress Test in the Windows Games category; Anyone have problems with it crashing the 2nd time you run it? I can only run it once, then I'd have to reboot if I want to play it again. . . .

same story here with a tnt 1 with 5.17 drivers, runs beautifully the first time, if i quit and attempt to reload it hard lock

Argh! I have to reboot after I exit Diablo 2 in order to start the game back up without it freezing...Is this some problem with tnt2s...I thought it was the directx8 beta I installed...I guess not.
nope, I don't have dx8....
so far it seems to be a problem only with nvidia cards.... is there anybody out there running the stress test on any other card?

I have a TNT2 using det 5.13(been to lazy to update) and can run the stress test whenever with no problems.

yeah, i was running 5.16 detonators... so someone says 5.13 works? we should try out 5.22 also

Like the title says, we are running the Diablo 2 Stress Test, which 100,000 people were selected for....
Well I am running it with a v3 3k@190 and it plays fine.
where can I go to be apart of the diable 2 stress test?
Oh, And where can I download Direct x 8.0?

just tried a fix I saw on the Diablo2 message boards.... if you change to DirectDraw mode, the problem goes away.
This definitely points to a driver issue. It sucks that we can't use Direct3D, but at least we can now play normally!
