Diamond Supra Express 56K USB - Need Drivers

This is a discussion about Diamond Supra Express 56K USB - Need Drivers in the Windows Hardware category; I just got this modem today and I've been searching for and trying drivers under win2k for hours with no success. In the compatability list on this site someone mentioned that the drivers listed under Compaq for the Lucent 56K usb modem worked for win2k rc3.

In the compatability list on this site someone mentioned that the drivers listed under Compaq for the "Lucent 56K usb modem" worked for win2k rc3. I don't have a listing for that driver in win2k pro retail.

Do any of you beta-testers out there still have rc3 and would be willing to email those drivers to me?

Has anyone else been able to get the supra modem working?

Any help to get the supra working would be greatly appreciated.

I was about to tell you that you were HIGH or something, cuz I had the same modem and had to put it aside under RC2, until I got Retail... But, I just checked and it appears that it has dissapeard from my Retail version - and trust me it was there! The only thing I can think of was the critical update from MS must had derezed it ? Have you applied it?

The same driver works for CNet USB modem.

I'll see if I can extract what I have for ya...

Yeah, I applied the critical update right away. Good thing I found this site and kept away from Office SR1.

I have a 3com winmodem and ordered the supra this week when our isp changed to v.90 modems this week also. I was going to go with the 56k external serial supra, but the usb version was a good price at Onvia and I was sure the usb version was good to go for plug and play. All the other versions of the 56 k supra express modems have native win 2k support, and I'm fairly PO'd the usb version isn't the same way.
