Digital Camera Problems?

This is a discussion about Digital Camera Problems? in the Windows Hardware category; I'm making uuber bunches of money this weekend for working Christmas, and I thought I'd dump it into a new digital camera. Don't have one, so I was wondering if anyone knew of problems with a camera and Win2k.

Just planning on transferring pictures over to my PC...photoshop 5 if I need to "tweak" anything...just like I do now with my Logitech QuickCam...nothing special

I've got a Fuji camera too.
The software that comes with the camera seems to hang the very first time you run it, just after you've told it which COM port your using.
Re-start it and it then works fine, I can browse through the camera via the PC just like I would a directory.
No real problems to report.
