This is a discussion about Direct X8 in the Windows Software category; I have just got the latest version of direct x8 (build no 4. 08. 00. 0085), but it does not work on win 2k, is there two versions???? Any body got any hints where to get the final from ?.

The latest version is 4.08.00.0105 and yes there is a separate win2k install.
Where can I download the latest directx ?

I have Dx8 beta, seems to work quite well except . . .
I can no longer use directinput devices, namely my joysticks. The reason for this is that it says the version has expired and I should update to the lastest version.
Any suggestions to fix this.
