DirectX 7 under NT4

This is a discussion about DirectX 7 under NT4 in the Windows Games category; Has anyone tried this? I have but everytime I start something with graphics, an dialog box appears saying, and I quote: The Procedure entry point GetMonitorInfoA could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.

I have heard that it can be done, have anyone tried this and did you use a fix of some kind?
