Dos Bios upgrades in W2K, how to???

This is a discussion about Dos Bios upgrades in W2K, how to??? in the Windows Hardware category; Hi, I'm new in Win2K, and i was in the will to update my motherboard bios! But how can i do it? The Flash program comes from Award and it runs only in MS-Dos mode with no emm386, how can i go to dos? Thanks Pedro Viana

Use a Win98 boot disk to get into a dos-mode then flash the bios. Works fine with me with Win2k.....

I would just put boot.ini, ntldr and ntdetect.com on a floppy with the awdflash.exe and the bin file. Then when you boot it will automatically start the awdflash.exe and your set. Just specify the .bin file and your done.
