DOS cd Bug in W2000 ?

This is a discussion about DOS cd Bug in W2000 ? in the Windows Software category; Uhm, I am stupid or didn´t w2000 support longer directory names which starts with a ! ? If I make a dir like !this-is-a-test than I am not able to change into with the command cd or chdir ??? I know that you can with a $ char hide directorys but what makes now the ! ?? Any suggest would be great.
