Drive errors in the Event Logs..

This is a discussion about Drive errors in the Event Logs.. in the Windows Hardware category; I was poking around in my event logs, and I noticed a certain, probably bad trend. . It appears that every time I boot this box, I get a myriad of controller errors on \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, and one or two errors on atapi device \Device\Ide\IdePort0.

It appears that every time I boot this box, I get a myriad of controller errors on \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, and one or two errors on atapi device \Device\Ide\IdePort0. As this is likely A Bad Thing, I'd like a bit of advice as to what I could do to fix it.. Broken hardware is not a pleastant thought..

Just once, I'd like to see an elementary particle physicist use *ZOT* when referring to accelerator operations. Is that too much to ask?
