Drivers?

This is a discussion about Drivers? in the Windows Hardware category; Hello, I have an unsupported device in build 2183. It is a satellite card, and Win2k just detects it as a network adapter. I have NT4 and Win9x drivers for it, and I was wondering if there is any way to get it to work by hacking these drivers like Anthony's Liveware3 run.

Hello,

The company tells me that they will not release drivers till Win2k is launched in the shops.

It sounds like it will work. You can always try it and see. I think that if you install the NT 4 drivers it will work. You dont have anything to lose by trying it anyway.

OP
Hi,
Tried the NT4 drivers, but win2k doesn't even see them.

It sees the win98 drivers, installs them, but then complains about a bad INF file.

You could try replacing the 98 INF with the NT4 inf once it's installed

I have no idea if it will work, but it's just a thought.
