Dual CPU and SB 128
This is a discussion about Dual CPU and SB 128 in the Windows Hardware category; I have seen some info on SMP and the sound blaster live, but not much info on the sound blaster 128 under a dual cpu machine (in windows 2000). I have a abit BP6 (two socket 370 celerons) and when installing beta 3 of Windows 2000 on my old slot one/single celeron system my sb128 worked just fine.

Now with my new rig it just makes a clicking sound until I mute it. I have also had to disable the card to allow win2k to shut down properly. I get the same problem on RC1 of win2k as well.
Could anyone shed some light on my problem, I'm itching to really get into NT, but would rather not have to buy a soundcard to do it
