DVDRAM + Win2000 Drivers?
This is a discussion about DVDRAM + Win2000 Drivers? in the Windows Hardware category; I have a Panasonic DVDRAM LF-D103E connected to an Adaptec 2930U2 PCI SCSI card. Win2000 detects the drive as a DVDROM but won't detect the DVDRAM aspect at all. When I try to install the driver software that came with the drive I get an error saying Check OS.

Anybody know how to get this working properly or how to fool the drivers?
Any comments would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately you need to purchase the Windows 2000 version of Writedvd! from Software Architects ( www.softarch.com).
Why Panasonic don't have free drivers avaliable like everyone else is open to question, but if you want to post your email I could send you a copy.
Note it only works with the final release of w2k (2195)

OP
If you could email me the software that would be excellent. Thank you.
Perhaps then I could access my backups etc.
