DVD-ROM / CD-R/RW Problems
This is a discussion about DVD-ROM / CD-R/RW Problems in the Windows Software category; I suspect this may have been covered already, but I couldn't find a relevant post Neither my DVD-ROM nor my CD-R/RW drives 'know' when they've been opened and new media is placed inside, even from empty to a 'real' disc.

Before I upgraded, Auto-Insert was off on the CD-R/RW..but that doesn't explain why neither now seems to work in this respect. I can't seem to access the drives at all without restarting.
Also, I did upgrade my ASPI layer to 4.60..so that's not it.
