DX8 Build 140 problem with 3dmark2000 rev 1.1
This is a discussion about DX8 Build 140 problem with 3dmark2000 rev 1.1 in the Windows Software category; Anyoen have the problem? I tried out dx8 beta build 140 and all wasworking fine, all my gamesrun fine and 2d significantly sped up but whenever I run 3dmark2000 rev 1. 1 it causes a memory dump and win2k pro reboots.

No problems here. But i use a 3dfx video adapter.

I installed DX8v146 for W2K and while the D2D performance still seems excellent (like v140), the D3D performance has dropped to nearly DX7 levels (or at least DX8 pre 140)... 3Dmark2000 dropped back to 2800 for me from 3200.
Anyone else seeing this behavior?

well installing the new 146 build fixed whatever the problem was. all is fine except the 64 meg test stillsay not enough agp memory and my score was slightly lower than dx7.
