enabling RAID without it formatting ur hard drives?

This is a discussion about enabling RAID without it formatting ur hard drives? in the Windows Hardware category; is this possible? i dont really wanna lose 110gig of in games and divx etc just to enable it thanks. .

I assume we're talking RAID-0 here. So, in a word... "no".
 
When you stripe drives using RAID, each file stored is distributed across each of the drives in the array. This is done for speed.
