Test this!

I can't get my gt7000usb to work using this driver. It installs and tests OK from the control panel but every time I try and get Twain to initialise I get the message "ESC @ Failed" then "Scanner not ready."
 
Error log says"TWAIN_32.DLL - MESSAGE - CTwunk ::AppInitialize - Reset Log
 
TWAIN_32.DLL - MESSAGE - CTwunk ::OpenServer - Starting Thunker
 
TWAIN_32.DLL - MESSAGE - CTwunk ::CloseServer - Why Can't We Find The Thunker Window?"
 
Any ideas? (Windows 2000 Build 2176)

I have no Problems with it.

Epson W9x Driver Files Rel 311 - and the updated inf File!
 
-Check this: I dont know if your Windows has the File ctlscan32.dll installed!
if not copy it to your system32 Dir. You can also change the inf File to do this for you!

ctl3d32.dll
 
There are same dll-Versions of this File with different Sizes.
Should be Version 2.31.0.0 with 27.136 Bytes
On Epson W9x Driver Disk there is Version 2.31.0.0 with 28.627 Bytes - do not use the Epson file
 
My Twain_32.dll has Version 1.7.0.0 and Size 44.216 Bytes
 
If you fix(or not) the Problem please Mail me!
If you have other Versions of above files - i can mail it.

i also get that message.
But when you press the Button on the Scanner Imageing is starting - Epson Twain and everything is OK.
