This is a discussion about EQ and Win2K and various video cards poll in the Windows Games category; Can we get a sampling of what cards actually work with EQ? This has been my experience so far. Permedia 2 - Flat shaded polys only, no textures Matrox G200 - All polys are black, can't see anything.

Voodoo2 w/Glide drivers from this page - Works great!
TNT series cards - Also appears to work just fine
Please post what build you were using as well. All cards here were tested under RC1.

ummmmmmmm... whats EQ anyway ?
EQ = EverQuest. Pretty popular and addicting online role-playing game.
I am running RC1 with a TnT2 based card and everything works perfectly. Later builds such as 2114 and RC2 (2128) don't have hardware D3D support.

I have a TNT2 Ultra based card and it works great. But I am having problems getting the sound to work in EQ. I have a Sound Blaster PCI 128 card.
