Error 1932...office could not update protected windows file.

This is a discussion about Error 1932...office could not update protected windows file. in the Windows Software category; Im getting this error for some reason after my last reformat and dont have a clue as to why. . . anyone have any experience with what may be going on ? have installed this 10 times before with no problems.

Im getting this error for some reason after my last reformat and dont have a clue as to why...anyone have any experience with what may be going on ? have installed this 10 times before with no problems. Dont know what I could be doing differently.

Without other info, I don't know what to say, except:
- Did you make the installation with administrative rights?
- What version of Office are you installing?
- your computer is a single workstation or in a network?
