Error in Application

This is a discussion about Error in Application in the Windows Software category; After checking from Event viewer, I have a problem when loading windows 2000 professional. It said the source is perfctrs with description unable to read IO control information from NBT device. Anyone has ideas about this ? Thank you in advance.
