ESS1869 on WIN2K?
This is a discussion about ESS1869 on WIN2K? in the Windows Hardware category; I'm had a problem with the B. S. O. D when I tried to setup my ESS1869 sound card in Win2k Professional. This sound card works perfectly fine in Dos 6. 22, Linux, Win 3. x, Win 9x and Windows NT 4. 0.
I'm had a problem with the B.S.O.D when I tried to setup my ESS1869 sound card in Win2k Professional. This sound card works perfectly fine in Dos 6.22, Linux, Win 3.x, Win 9x and Windows NT 4.0. Has anyone else had a problem getting this sound card to work? Any suggestions/helpful tips? I no longer have it installed due to the fact that it automatically plug-n-play'd the soundcard and I never got a chance to disable the sound card--before i could, the B.S.o.D. reared it's head.

I use this card twice (@home & @work) without any problems (no bsod)
just plugged it in and played the music
maybe there is a confict with an other device.
