Everquest and Windows 2000
This is a discussion about Everquest and Windows 2000 in the Windows Games category; My system is as follows: AMD Athlon 650 Gigabyte 7IX 160 MB RAM Guillemot Xentor 32 w/ 5. 13 Drivers Windows 2000 Pro Ok, my problem is that Everquest will lock up twice before it'll be fine for a few hours.

AMD Athlon 650
Gigabyte 7IX
160 MB RAM
Guillemot Xentor 32 w/ 5.13 Drivers
Windows 2000 Pro
Ok, my problem is that Everquest will lock up twice before it'll be fine for a few hours. For instance, I'll log in and within 10 minutes, I'll get a hard lock. I'll power down the system, get immediately back into the game and in another 10 minutes I'll get another. I'll power down and get back into the game and I'll be fine for hours. I'm wondering if anyone else is having similar symptoms. The 3.66 drivers did the same thing. The 3.81 drivers hardly ever locked unless I was meditating (looking at the spellbook) which is pretty often.
