Hi,

I've been trying to play EQ on NT for sometime now, and with the release of Win2000 I'd figured i'd try there. I installed Win2000 release 2, but when I try to run the game I receive a NO 3D Devices Found...
I'm using a Viper 550 (is this the problem?). I was looking on the compatibility list and it says that EQ should run on Win2000. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get this game working pls reply. If the simple solution is to go out and buy a voodoo2 then point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance.

You need to install the beta nVidia drivers for your TnT card. This will enable Direct3D under Win2000. You can find the beta drivers, latest version is 3.69, at www.reactorcritical.com

After the drivers are installed goto Start-->Run-->dxdiag.exe and click on the Display tab. This will tell you if Direct3D is enabled under Win2000.

I was playing EverQuest just in fine with my TnT2 since beta 3. Hope this helps.
