This is a discussion about EverQuest was working with Win2k. in the Windows Games category; OK, like many others I have been constantly experimenting with Win2k and my Voodoo3. Somewhere along the way I collected like 3 different versions of the Voodoo3 drivers. I had Windows 2000 RC1 running with a Voodoo3 and Everquest was running perfectly.
OK, like many others I have been constantly experimenting with Win2k and my Voodoo3. Somewhere along the way I collected like 3 different versions of the Voodoo3 drivers. I had Windows 2000 RC1 running with a Voodoo3 and Everquest was running perfectly. Then I formatted my hard drive and loaded Windows 2000 RC2 and reloaded various Voodoo3 driver fixes (that I collected from this site). However now I can't get EQ working. No buttons only screen, with DX7 its all buttons no screen, damn I can't win. So what is my problem did I load the wrong Voodoo3 drivers or do I have to reload my Comp to WIN2k RC1?

You sure you installed Directx7 for W2K? Remember RC2 uses a beta of DX7.
