Explorer view
This is a discussion about Explorer view in the Customization Tweaking category; How do I get Explorer to remember to always show my files in list view? I turned off 'Remember every folder's view settings', and then selected List View, but now whenever I open explorer, it is back to the large icon view.

After you get the folder to look how you want all of them to look:
Tools > Folder Options > View[tab] > Folder Views[section] > Like Current Folder[button]
