FF8 Patch out
This is a discussion about FF8 Patch out in the Windows Games category; Thought some of you FF8'ers might like to know about the patch, just released. . . which apparently fixes the Graphics corruption issues as well as other things. Not tried it yet myself, but will do as soon as I sort my PC out Exorcist.

Didnt help my situation any. I still got the gobbly gook graphics.
Geforce SDR, athlon 650, k7pro, 256 micron pc133 cas2, 2x13.6gig 7200rpm raid 0, sb live, bangin' ass speakers, the rest of the usual network, dsl, cdrom ****.

Ahh well...I'll be formatting this comp one last time tomorrow before reinstalling everything, including FF8 - then I'll be able to see if it helps at all..

There are 2 patches, one for the GeForce - the other isn't....which one did you get?
I only say this becase I just tried it with the GeForce patch - and the graphics are now spot on, with no lines or anything
