Final Fantasy VIII Crash on Win2000

Final Fantasy Crashes on my System after the first Video (The Eidos Commercial her in Germany) and i'm back an my win Desktop. I'm using a Geforce DDR with the 5. 13 Drivers (The same happens with the official Drivers) 256meg Ram and a P3 450.

Final Fantasy Crashes on my System after the first Video (The Eidos "Commercial" her in Germany) and i'm back an my win Desktop. I'm using a Geforce DDR with the 5.13 Drivers (The same happens with the official Drivers) 256meg Ram and a P3 450. I installed the Win2000 Compatiblity Patch but the Game still crashes. Can anyone help please ?

I do not have the problem that you said before. I am running on a Creative Annihilator Pro (Geforce DDR). The only problem that I have with this game is the horizontal line across the screen.

Yep, i had the same Problem, Install the GeForce FF8 Patch. Then it will work (but only with Win98).......

I've found the Answer ! The FF8 Patch is only for the english Version of the Game, all international Versions will not start. Looks like i have to wait for the german Version of the Patch......
