they said April, but you'll be seeing an RTM of about July or August, ready for retail in the early Fall.

i only hope there's a place i can download it for evaluation purposes.
I doubt whistler will make its due date but most likely will appear somewhere on Feb 2002. They are usually always 1 month off.

haha, Feb 2002?? Andrew, your nuts buddy. If it takes them that long, that's great, more time to fix stuff. But Feb 2002 is pushing it, I doubt it very much.
I too think August is more realistic. Take a look at previous MS OS releases.

Windows 2000 was supposed to be released in autum 1999...and we got it in feb 2000. It's not unlikely we'll see a delay.

WRONG! Windows 2000 was RTM in December IIRC. I know I had the RTM waaaaayyy before the Retail.
