Flash 4 Crashing Win 2k...ALWAYS ...
This is a discussion about Flash 4 Crashing Win 2k...ALWAYS ... in the Windows Games category; Ok. . here is the problem that keeps happenning to me over and over. I have just done a fresh install of Win 2k. . . with just minimun drivers and still this crash occursa really bad blue-screen crash, which is rare for Win 2k.
Ok..here is the problem that keeps happenning to me over and over. I have just done a fresh install of Win 2k...with just minimun drivers and still this crash occurs--a really bad blue-screen crash, which is rare for Win 2k...I have an Annihilator 2 (geforce 2) card with the nVidia reference drivers installed (currently 5.17 beta for win 2k)..If I install any other drivers (5.22, 5.25) and then go to this page, I get an immediate and ugly crash:

This is the page that has those funny Metallica/Napster animations. In any case, I am going crazy trying to figure out why all the nVidia driver versions above 5.17 cause a crash in this page only...any ideas??

flash runs fine for me using a TNT 5.25 det drivers
Man, you are nuts, I DEVELOP flash under version 4.0 on my site, www.pronerd.com with Win2k Server and Professional.
Try up[censored] your computer, doubt it is the vid drivers since a didn't update my drivers for a while til I releized for 2 games I liked to play (other than minesweeper) I needed the newest det drivers along with to get DVD support again.
BUT back to Flash 4.0, get the latest plug in or update your computer. Before going to Win2k, you should have gotten all that info/drivers on your system.
