floppy problem in NT 4.0
This is a discussion about floppy problem in NT 4.0 in the Windows Hardware category; getting floppy drive errors in nt4. 0 replace drive no help error message is invalid parameter. . . . bios settings are normal,funny part is can boot to the drive works in dos but nt is giving error upon drive access, once again.

could have bad floppy disk
try make a new one I belive it was "winnt /s"
for new boot disk if not try the help "winnt /?" or could just dos disk & run "winnt"

have tried several diff disks keep getting same error in windows.........
Try this:
1) Power off your computer
2) unplug cable at both ends
3) reseat cable firmly/securely
4) power on computer
5) fingers crossed
