Freespace 2 demo won't let me play

This is a discussion about Freespace 2 demo won't let me play in the Windows Games category; I have installed the Freespace 2 demo under RC1. Eveytime I start it up, it says that the video settings need to be choosen. It autodetects the card just fine, but as soon as I click OK and try to click play, it says that I need to select a video mode.

I have installed the Freespace 2 demo under RC1. Eveytime I start it up, it says that the video settings need to be choosen. It autodetects the card just fine, but as soon as I click OK and try to click play, it says that I need to select a video mode. This happens every time. It's like it's not storing the settings. Does anyone else have this problem? My system is

SB Live
128 megs ram
Windows 2000 RC1
