Getting rid of hiding menu items

This is a discussion about Getting rid of hiding menu items in the Windows Software category; This isn't really a compatibility post, but it seems there are people here that really know Windows 2000 so I will ask: Is there any way (i. e. registry setting or otherwise) to turn off the annoying feature where menu items are hidden and only the recently used ones are shown.

This is the single worst feature of 2000.

Taskbar -> Press right mouse button -> Properties -> in Taskbar and Start Menu Properties uncheck "Use Personalized Menus".

Yeah, that pissed me to no end as well, until I discoved that personalized menus thing. Also you want to go into internet explorer properties (right click the icon on desktop and choose properties) and under the advanced tab, uncheck the enable personalized favorites menu.
