Gigabyte riva TNT2 and Win2000
This is a discussion about Gigabyte riva TNT2 and Win2000 in the Windows Hardware category; Ran win2000, with a Gigabyte GA660 accel. card (riva tnt2) win2000 doesn't pick it up as an AGP, but as a PCI. Used different drivers(MS, Gigabyte, NVIDIA), upgraded the bios on card and motherboard, even did a re-install of win2000.

Used different drivers(MS, Gigabyte, NVIDIA), upgraded the bios on card and motherboard, even did a re-install of win2000. even in the motherboard bios i selected the option of choosing AGP before PCI for video. After uninstalling win2000, i tried win98 Beta, win98 second edition and it works fine. Win2000 does see it as a 3d card, but just not on agp...any ideas??
